The Quorum Technology Platform

At the heart of the system is a scalable, high performance resource management platform that is the result of over 40 man years of engineering and development to date. The system foundation was originally designed and built to meet the U.S. Navy's exacting Open Architecture Computing Environment standards for enterprise command and control system applications within the Department of Defense. After completion of the project, the Quorum system and its developers formed the basis for Quorum Technologies, Inc.

This core platform has been productized and extended through proprietary subsystems for physical and virtual resource monitoring, policy based response, workload and data replication, converting physical workloads to virtual hard disk images, de-duplication, bandwidth throttling and more.

 

Quorum Technologies is delivering a series of solutions based on this technology platform. The Business Continuity V solution allows a business of any size to easily and quickly deploy virtualization for high availability and disaster recovery protection of physical and virtual workloads.

Quorum's Enterprise Management Appliance for XenServer solution allows system administrators using XenServer to automatically and dynamically allocate virtual resources to ensure mission critical business applications operate at peak efficiency.
